Wednesday, April 15, 2026 (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM) (CDT)
Description
High-Impact Leadership for Construction Executives with Ted Turner. Short, high-impact workshops designed for Owners, C-Suite, Seniors PMs, Superintendents, and Directors who need executive-level development without multi-day commitments.
April 15th-Constructing the Adaptative Mindset: This session focuses on rewiring leadership thinking and behavior under pressure by leveraging neuroscience and the MLEI framework. Participants will explore how the brain filters, stores, and retrieves information, and how these processes influence decision-making in high-stress environments. The discussion will help leaders recognize the difference between mature responses and derailing stress reactions, while providing practical techniques to rewire habits and patterns for more effective leadership. The session also introduces the concept of positive realism—maintaining optimism while honestly acknowledging and addressing difficult truths.
April 22nd- Aligning Team Dynamics & Communication: This session focuses on transforming communication, conflict, and team alignment by understanding strategic information-processing styles. Participants will learn how to decode their I Opt strategic pattern and adapt their communication approach to better connect with different styles, reducing friction and misunderstandings. The session will also explore how to interrupt predictable conflict cycles on jobsites and in meetings, and how to intentionally build teams that leverage complementary cognitive strengths for stronger collaboration and performance.
April 29th- Establishing Culture That Drives Results: This session introduces the 5 Cultures of Culture® model and demonstrates how it can be applied to both field and office leadership. Participants will learn how to diagnose cultural strengths and gaps across crews and projects, gaining insight into why 75% of initiatives fail and how to avoid the most common pitfalls. The session also focuses on strengthening accountability, cohesion, and safety culture, while equipping leaders to turn everyday behaviors into consistent drivers of a strong, sustainable organizational culture.
May 6th- Decision-Making Under Pressure: This session focuses on developing leadership agility for uncertain, fast-changing construction environments. Participants will learn to recognize their instinctual decision-making patterns under stress and apply a clarity-driven, repeatable decision model to improve consistency and outcomes. The session also addresses strategies to avoid cognitive overload and emotional reactivity, equipping leaders to confidently navigate conflict, chaos, and ambiguity in the field and beyond.
May 13th- The Leadership Blueprint: This session guides participants through creating a focused Individual Leadership Development Plan (ILDP) that drives meaningful growth. Participants will identify one key leadership strength and one critical development gap, then build a simple, actionable ILDP aligned with company goals. The session also introduces the use of “Go-Forward Suggestions” to actively engage stakeholders, increasing accountability, alignment, and long-term leadership development.
